Patience paid off as the very marginal wind increased to around 16 knots in the afternoon so most of the session was spent nicely powered with my 5.7m sail. Sometimes getting out was a bit of a slog with not quite enough wind but in general it was OK.

Steve snapped his UJ at one point and missed the best of the session swimming. While he was swimming a nice squall came through, all the kitesurfers went in to take shelter/change down and the wind picked up (gusting to 29 knots) meaning I was maxed out on my 5.7 with the place to myself and a swimming Steve to gybe around.

All in all a pretty good day with some good jumps, gybes and wave rides and some nice sunshine.
